The Kayak Bass Blog since its inception has become a way for me to document my experiences, my involvement and my promotion of all things dealing with kayak bass fishing.  I have been fishing for pretty much my entire life, and have focused solely on bass fishing over the last 18 years, but kayak fishing was definitely a new thing for me. I had humble beginnings out of an Ascend FS10 back in 2012, but I pushed hard to learn the sport and develop it in the Midwest.  I am the owner and co-founder of the Kayak Bass League, the first and largest kayak bass fishing tournament trail in Illinois…also one of the most well known series in the Midwest.  I have competed in local and national tournament trails with my most notable finishes at the KBF National Championship with an 11th and 40th place finish.  I am a connoisseur of baits, techniques, rods, reels…you name it and I probably have seen it, used it, broken it or fixed it at some point over the years.  My end goal in all of this is to teach as much as possible to help you learn from mistakes that I have made, promote the products that I feel will make you a more successful angler, and be a person that you all can bounce ideas and questions off of.

At the end of the day we are all attempting to do the same thing by catching bass out of a kayak, and I want to be one of those people that can help you become a better angler.
